ENOUGH

We had enough of hunger

That was caused by poverty

We had enough of cowardice

That was caused by fear

We had enough of mendacity

That was caused by treachery

We had enough of indolence

That was caused by irresponsibility.

We had enough but enough isn't enough at all

Until we realize we had forgotten something

Like toiling hard not be hungry

And praying fervently so as not to fear.

By believing in ourselves we avoid making lies

And being responsible we avoid sloth.

Enough will then be enough

If we have given our all!
